The Farmington Area Public Schools community is pleased to welcome Keith Badger as the new Activities and Athletics Director for ISD 192. His hiring was approved by the ISD 192 School Board on Monday, June 21. Although his official start date isn’t until July 1, he took some time to meet with Farmington Area administrators in the latter part of June to prepare for the transition. Bill Tschida, who served as the ISD 192 Activities and Athletics Director for the past 8 years and is moving on to a position with Hutchinson Public Schools, spent some time showing him around the district and acquainting him with Tiger Nation.
Badger comes to ISD 192 from Faribault Public Schools where he was the Activities Director for the past three years. Prior to that he coached football, was head of strength and conditioning, and served as a physical education teacher in New Richmond, Wisconsin. Badger is also a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA). He is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas and an alumni of their football program.
Badger looks forward to using his skills and experience to serve our Tiger community by helping learners find and develop their sparks. Outside of the work day he enjoys spending time with his wife and children.
