Farmington Music Academy offers private lessons that are one half hour in length. Lessons are weekly on days that school is in session.  Tuition varies based on the instrument.


Tuition
Tuition varies based on the instrument that the student plays, and how many days are in each session, which varies per week day. Tuition prices and lesson openings can be found by calling 651-460-3200 between the hours of 7:30 am and 4:30 pm.  Tuition must be paid in full before lessons begin. 


Enrollment
Students can enroll at any time during the school year. Students will be automatically enrolled in the next session and the credit card on file will be charged. Community Education will send an email at least 5 business days before the charge is processed as a reminder that the payment will be due. 


Cancellation Policy
Students wishing to drop from the program must give a two week written notice. Families will be charged for lessons during the two week period.  Students can send a written notice via email to pschmaltz@farmington.k12.mn.us or ashadoin@farmington.k12.mn.us


Music Purchases
Students are required to pay for their own music which is necessary for their instruction. Instructors will purchase music for their students as they need it and will hand the music statement to their student along with the new music at the lesson. Payment for music should be made directly to the instructor. Parents are responsible for paying the teachers promptly for new music.
