Pool Parties

Pool Parties!

Updated 10/29:

Although we were working on details and plans to be able to host pool parties again soon, the recent increases in COVID-19 cases has caused us to put them on hold until further notice.

When we are able to offer them again, parties will likely be shortened from 90 minutes to 60 minutes and involve some staff-led structured activities. The fee will lower from $130 to $85.

As a result of the continued health concerns related to COVID-19:
the MN Department of Health has identified pools as being in Phase-3. This allows a limited number of people in the pool area: water, deck, and bleachers. This will allow some swim camps, clubs, and lessons to have a limited number of swimmers in the water.

Because of these directives, aquatics programs are affected as follows:

Because of the logistical social-distance challenges involved; pool parties will not include having food or drinks at the pool until further notice.

Please call the pool office at 651-460-1515 with any questions.

-  The pool at Dodge Middle School can be rented for events like birthday parties, team parties,
   or scout group functions.

Temporarily: $85 covers all costs (including lifeguards) for an hour party of up to 20 swimmers.

-  Reservations need to be made 10 or more calendar days before the desired date.

-  The pool is available most often on Friday evenings (7:45-8:45) or Saturday afternoons just after swim lessons
(which end at 2:00 during the school year). The pool is available on some Sundays April through October.

-  The pool is not available for rent when in use by school groups, Community Education swim lessons,

or other aquatic events.

-  Contact the pool at (651) 460-1515 with questions about the pool or available dates/times.

-  To request your date and time, complete the Pool Party Request Form. There is a tab/link to
that form on the right side of this page. That form is automatically sent to the aquatic
coordinator. He will contact you if/as necessary regarding date or time availability issues.
Once the date is confirmed you will be contacted for payment of the Pool Party fee.

Until further notice: please do not bring food to share at the pool. Water bottles are okay.
-  No latex balloons may be brought into ISD 192 (Farmington Area Schools) facilities.
