How do I register for a Non-School Day?
Non-school days can be managed and requested online by accessing your account.  Non-School Days are days in which the regular school day is not in session but where Kid Connection provides an all day care option. Non-school dates you will need to pre-register for and are offered at our Meadowview and North Trail sites.  For a printable PDF, please click on Program Information tab on the left side of this web page.  Turn that form into any staff member at your Kid Connection site.  No cancellations or refunds will be honored after the registration deadline. Leave Day Coupons may not be used for Non-School Days.

Where do I find Leave Day Coupons?
Please note that any leave, whether it be vacation, sick, bereavement, etc. can be credited to your account by using a Leave Day Coupon. Please refer to the Kid Connection Parent Handbook for further information. Please click on the Program Information tab on the left side of this web page to view the Parent Handbook; the Leave Day Coupons can be found on the last page of the handbook.  Leave Day Coupons may not be utilized during our Summer Session; you will be billed your regularly scheduled days.

How do I request Drop-In care?
Drop-in care can be managed and requested online by accessing your account. While we like to see drop-in care requested at least 48 hours in advance, we understand that things come up and this time frame isn't always possible. If you should need drop-in care and it is less than 48 hours please call your site directly to let them know you are coming.  The site phone numbers are listed in the 'Contact Us' section of this website.  Drop-In service is NOT allowed during our Summer Session.

How do I make changes to my contract?
For schedule changes, log into your account to modify your contract. Withdrawal from program must be done in writing and received in the Community Education Office at least two weeks prior to the last day of attendance. 

Do I have to sign up for Early Release Days?
If an early release day falls on a normally scheduled day for your child, he/she will be scheduled to attend at your regular rate + $5. If an early release day falls on a day your child is NOT scheduled to attend you can request a drop-in at the drop-in rate +$5.

If my child does not attend Kid Connection on a day that they are scheduled to attend, do I have to pay for that day?
You are billed according to your child's contract rather than your child's attendance. See Leave Day Policy for coupons to use as a credit towards your account on the days when your child needs to be absent from their regular schedule.

If school is closed, has a late start, or gets out two hours early due to severe weather is Kid Connection open?

Two Hours Late: If school has a delayed start time, Kid Connection will open at 6:00 AM.

Closing Early: If school is dismissed early due to inclement weather, Kid Connection will NOT be able to accommodate your child on that day. There are not enough staff on site during the school day to meet this need. Please make sure the school office has the Emergency Closing Form on file so they know where to send your child if in the event school is closing early.

Closed: If Farmington Public Schools are closed due to inclement weather, Kid Connection is also closed.  Refer to our website and email notifications in the event of a snow or cold day closing. School closings are also announced on local tv stations and the District's website at

Are there any dates that Kid Connection is CLOSED?
There are several dates in which Kid Connection will be CLOSED due to Holidays and/or Staff Development Days; therefore there will be no care provided.  Please refer to the Program Information page of this website for a list of our Non-School Days (care IS provided).  For ALL other dates not listed, Kid Connection will be CLOSED due to holidays and/or Staff Development Days so please plan accordingly.  Follow us on FACEBOOK for up-to-date information!!
